Ep. 179 Best of: Being A Good Mom

Hi, I’m Heidi

Three years ago, I watched my oldest board a plane to go to Europe for his first semester of college.

I was nervous, scared, worried… for him and me.

This semester wasn’t a walk in the park for either of us, but knowing how to handle my worries and anxieties meant that I could be a calming support.

I knew how to send him the confidence he needed to thrive and come home having grown more than I could have hoped.

This experience helped me the next year as I took my second son to his freshman college dorm across the country.  I knew how to stay calm and anchored when he was lonely, stressed and anxious.

I knew how to handle the disappointments, scary moments and growing pains with grace and confidence.

You don’t need to be drowning in worry and anxiety.  Let me know you.  (Which helps them, I promise!)

Heidi has been one of the most influential people in my individual growth. She helped me heal wounds and relationships I thought were broken forever. By softening my heart and learning tools to change my emotions, everyone around me has softened as well and my depression is lifting. I’ve learned to see the good in myself that has always been there.

Heidi has been an incredible help teaching me the tools I need to manage myself. Everything comes down to self-awareness. How do I want to show up for me and for others? Heidi has taught me how to incorporate all of the self-improvement work I’ve done prior and really put it into practice. I’m feeling more confident in who I am.
